May 2012 MyGlam

This month's MyGlam includes:

-a makeup pouch (a different style every month)
-20 pcs of Miss Beauty: Nail Bling stickers (silver and pink hearts design)
- a full size Studio Gear Complete Color Intensely Professional Lipstick in the color, So Chili (brick red/brown color)
-a MyGlam synthetic eyeliner brush
-a MyGlam synthetic concealer brush
-a sample of Philosophy's fragrance in Love Sweet Love (eau de toilette)

Overall, this this month's MyGlam was not bad at all. The makeup pouch is pretty cute. As for the nail bling stickers, they aren't really my style ( I might give it away, free giveaway anyone?). The lipstick is not the type of color I go for but I'll use it as a lip stain instead of applying it heavily. The brushes are quite nice; I could never have enough brushes.

May 2012 Birchbox

This month's Birchbox features Gossipgirl

Honestly, this month's Birchbox was a disappointment. I never like any of the sample perfumes they send me and I could always get free perfumes from any department counter. Why would they send me a beauty blender cleanser if they didn't even send me a beauty blender? I could probably use it to clean my brushes but the sample is tiny. The nail polish was probably the most decent thing in this month's box. When I saw that I was receiving a sample of Dr. Jart's BB cream, I was ecstatic. But when I opened my sample tube of BB cream, it was literally empty! I couldn't squeeze anything out of it! I heard that some those who received this encountered the same problem. Anyone else have this problem? let me know. The head band was okay and the notecard was useless to me. Overall, not loving this month's Birchbox. =(
